Deerhunter visited the BBC 6's Mark Riley for some chit-chat and to perform some songs. Last time they visited his studio they debuted the song "Helicopter". This time they debuted a new song "60 Cycle Hum", which was written during a recent soundcheck in Glasgow. They also played "Octet" from Cryptograms, and an awesome new version of "Memory Boy". Not only that they also performed a cover of Magazine's "The Light Pours Out of Me".
Skip to about five-and-a-half minutes into the broadcast to hear "Octet" and the Magazine cover, and skip to 49 minutes in to check out the new song and "Memory Boy".
